Office Max
Construction of the 22,500 square foot OfficeMax was completed in October in plenty of time for the November grand opening.
The $750,000 building was the fourth of seven Primrose Marketplace anchor stores located at 3500 Glenstone Avenue in Springfield, Missouri.
Following a prototype design for the chain's 900 stores, the design was adapted to existing municipal codes. All details pertaining to the construction of the free-standing building were handled in record time by the construction team, including the last-minute addition of a mezzanine requested by the owner.
Currently, OfficeMax operates more than 950 full-size superstores in over 370 markets in 49 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In addition to offering office products, business machines, computers and related items, the Company also features CopyMax and FurnitureMax in-store modules devoted exclusively to print-for-pay services and office furniture.
