Wehrenberg Theaters - Jamestown Mall Cinema

Vantage Construction was selected by Wehrenberg Theatres to construct their new 14-screen theater complex at Jamestown Mall. Due to their strong performance in completing the demolition and construction of the Landlord's shell work, Vantage was the natural choice to "finish the job."

 

The new Jamestown 14 Cinema, located inside Jamestown Mall in St. Louis County, Missouri, features state-of-the-art stadium seating, Sony Dynamic Digital Sound (SDDS) and Digital Theatre Systems (DST), THX sound, and wide screens. Extensive sound-proofing was required and was accomplished in part by installing seven layers of drywall around each theater and by creating a corridor between the theaters and adjoining mall lease space.

 

The anticipated pre-Thanksgiving opening date was achieved by Vantage, despite the extreme weather and governmental delays that they encountered during the project.
